"Thanet District Council are pleased to fully support the “Get Your Reg Right” campaign. Due to the increase of digital parking this scheme we feel is needed across the county. We have recently upgraded one of our car parks to ANPR, also since April our permit system has gone virtual.

Since these systems have come into place we have experienced many unfortunate mistakes from people trying to park legally and end up with a PCN due to a slight error and we think it is necessary to help motorists understand why it is important they get their registration right.

We hope that raising awareness to double check your registration will improve our customer experience, this will not only help them but will help us too!"
